The Two Kids

I think it’s safe to say that I can sense and contact spirits, though almost no one really believes me.

Anyway.  A few years ago -the exact dates are blurry- my class and I went to a week long trip. We were supposed to camp outside, and I was really, really hyped.

Well. Let’s just say that I had no fun that week.

I know this sounds silly, but the first day something made me throw a hot dog at a guy from my class. To be fair, though, he was making fun off me. Let’s call him John. But that’s- really not important.

At times, when I walked alone on the gravel road to fetch water or something similar, I would hear footsteps walking next to me or behind me. Other times I would hear voices -my classmate’s voices- call my name from the beach, or I would just hear them talk, even though I knew they weren’t there.

It wasn’t only me this happened to. My friend, Sara, and another girl in my class, told me that she noticed this, too. It was freaky, but not the freakiest.

The second or third day we spent the day fishing. I had a guy friend at the time. Let’s call him Dan. So. Me, Sara and Dan hung around a cliff (later I’ve seen this cliff in my dreams and while meditating, and I think I may know why), when suddenly I fell off the stone I was sitting on. I felt the presence of a young girl. Sara and Dan didn’t notice, of course, but they believed me when I made them aware of her. Slowly, be backed off, because the girl didn’t feel… friendly. Well, she was having none of this.

The rest of the day she stalked me.

In the end of it, I was sick of always feeling watched and she was rapidly growing irritated at me ignoring her. I confronted her, and she’s the first and only spirit I’ve helped to the afterlife. Considering I was like, eleven at the time, I’m proud of what I achieved.

At the time I was really freaked out, but it was not as bad as my encounter the next day.

It was a little boy, this time. We ate breakfast at an old school house -it was a school with two rooms; a bathroom and main room-, and I hadn’t had any problems with it. Before the last day.

He was six, maybe seven years old, standing in the doorframe and blocking the exit. No one noticed him but I.

I freaked out. I couldn’t breathe, my head was spinning and I felt sick to my stomach. But I couldn’t just barge out of there either, a teacher was saying something I couldn’t focus on. The boy looked so serious, and so mad! He sucked the energy right out of me, and when we finally were allowed outside of the building he vanished.

I haven’t seen or heard from him since, but it was still a frightening experience.
