Dead Doppelganger

Okay so might not be scary per-say but I thought it was bizarre and kind of creepy. It was probably just a very odd coincidence, but let me tell you it was one hell of a coincidence. So I should probably start with a little background.

I didn’t start going to concerts until in college which is really weird because I’ve always been obsessed with music.

I love all genres and really don’t have any bands that I outright hate. But then again back in high school I was very bad around crowds.

Anyways, I’ve been to so many concerts that I’ve lost track of the number.

Most of them were metal concerts and nothing strange has every really happened, the most I ever expected was to get a black eye from a mosh pit or something. Which is saying something being as I attended a Black Metal concert on Friday the 13th. If there was any concert I thought would have been cursed or something,

it would have been that one. But enough backstory.

My story takes place in the summer, I think it was June. For the sake of privacy, I won’t mention the festival name being as it has my town’s name and I’m kinda paranoid like that. But it was an open air event.

At this venue there were two stages; the main stage for the well-known bands and the second stage for the lesser known. The main stage had a large pit for general admission and was surrounded by bleachers that were stories high.

On the stage itself were two screens on either side so the people in the back and in the bleachers could see.

These are two crucial details. Usually I got to concerts with my dad since I am a very short girl and my dad is much bigger, he usually handles the crowd for me.

This time I went with my younger sister.

Now this was a three-day festival, so my sister and I were planning for a pretty kickass few days full of nothing but headbanging and cheering. The first half of the day was very normal, I saw one of the openers, I forget which band it was, and tried crowd surfing for the first time—this was at the second stage.

After that my sister and I decided to go see the main bands and we managed to worm our way up to the front, again, we’re very small so this was pretty easy.

I knew most of the bands that played throughout the day. The highlight of my day being when the drummer of Hollywood Undead tossed his drumstick into the crowd and I caught it.

This is around the time when things took a turn for the weird, and I didn’t even know it. In between sets, on those two screens I mentioned earlier, the hosts of the venue displayed people’s Instagram pictures and tweets about their experiences.

My sister taps me on the shoulder, laughing, and says, “hey that guy kinda looks like you.” I look at the screen and there’s this dude who has the same haircut and dye job as me. He was also around the same height. Basically, this guy is how I would look if I were a man.

Throughout the day I was mistaken for this guy on various occasions.

Anyways, night rolls around and I’m having the time of my life. Everything remained very normal. Rammstein is playing and they have their usual fire show going on.

My sister and I decide to leave a bit early though so we could beat the traffic and wake up on time for day two. Again, nothing out of the ordinary.

We get back to the hotel, watch a scary movie, and go to bed. The next day we find out via word of the mouth that someone died the night before, after we left.

I don’t know exactly what happened—maybe the guy was drunk, maybe the crowd got too wild and he was pushed—whatever the situation was, a guy had fallen off of one of the uppermost bleachers.

I didn’t think anything of it until I saw a picture of male me on the article about the incident. The rest of the festival went as every other concert I’ve ever been to did. But it set a weird mood for the rest of the festival, knowing that someone who looked so much like me died at a concert I was attending.

It also kind of made me wonder what would have happened if I stayed for the whole show.

The man at The M.C.R.’s concert.

Hello Darkness, I’m big fan of the show on Youtube. I love scary stories.

So, I heard you looking for Creepy Concert stories. Well, my story might not be creepy. But it did give me a chill. I’m 26 years old and female. This happen when I was about 13 or 14 I want to say. I am a rocker and my mother was taking me to see my favorite rock band My Chemical Romance aka M.C.R..

My friend went with me. I got her loving the band as much as I did. This was in Charlotte, North Carolina, I’m from South Carolina. I can’t remember the name of the place.

I’m bad with names. Haha. Anyways my friend and I was on the floor. My mother was there but she hang back at the doors. Letting the two teen girls have their fun.

Well, looking around I can see a lot of emos, punks, and some Gothic people.

Something you would see at a show for M.C.R..The show started as the band came out on stage, the lights turn off, and the only lights was on, was from the stage.

I was cheering the band on but I felt like someone was watching me. I look to my left, where the feeling was coming from, and there was a man watching me. He was like 40 feet away from me. Our eyes met, he looked shocked like I startle him, and he looked so out of place there. He look like he was in his late 30s,

He was wearing a black jacket, with a white shirt under it, and black pants from what I could see.

I guess he had black or brown hair.

I couldn’t really tell with the lights being off. He had dark brown eyes. I could see that. Well, I look away trying to not make more eye contact that I already did. I am one who don’t like being around a lot of people. It makes me nervous and uncomfortable. Big time if I’m getting look at.

I can still feel his eyes on me.

But I try to act like he wasn’t there. Well the Singer Gerard from M.C.R. told us to jump. So I laugh enjoying Gerard’s silliness, jumping with him as he was jumping on stage, and everyone else on the floor was jumping also. After I stop, my friend poke my right shoulder, I look at her, and she pointed to the left of me.

I make a confuse look at her, I looked to my left again, and the man is now next to me. He was holding something in his hand, looking at me, moving his hand over to me, and He hand it over to me. As I slowly took it, I notice that it was my phone.

I guess it fell off my belt when I was jumping.

But when I look up to thank the man. He was gone, Like I look around, in front of me, behind me, and He was no where to be seen. It’s like he disappear.

I didn’t even feel his eyes on me anymore.

I look at my friend and yell at her because of the music was loud ” Did you see where that Man went?”. She shook her head no as she look around too.

But She didn’t see him too.

I don’t remember if I told my mom about the man. I kind of think I ran into a ghost Or maybe he was a dad and his kid wanted to leave. I don’t know. Well I hope you and the other fans enjoy my story.

Like I said it’s not to creepy but it’s a chill.

The creepiest zoo experience ever

This story took place about two years ago. I come from a small town in Virginia so my family and I decided that we would take a small road trip to northern Virginia. On our way to our hotel Harrisonburg, we seen a sign for a zoo nearby. I had never been to a zoo so I begged my mom to take me back the next day.

She agreed and the next day I woke up and my family drove me to the zoo.

They dropped me off and they decided to go to the classic car museum. I was 13 at the time so I was trusted. I bought my ticket and I entered the zoo. It was fairly empty due to it being very early in the morning.

I looked around at a few Animal enclosures, feeling eyes following me the entire time. I turned around and standing right behind me was an old man with a dirty beard and yellow teeth.

“You need any help little girl?” I jumped back and ran off in the other direction toward the elephant enclosure.

I thought I was safe, but I was wrong. I walked around the giraffes and the elephants for a while before heading over to a bird cage that people were able to walk into. As I open the door, I step into the room to my left and sanitize my hands so that I can go inside.

I was about to open the door and go inside when I felt a hand in my shoulder.

The guy with yellow teeth was touching me.

I tried to run out the door but he grabbed me by my shoulders and pushed me into one of the wooden walls behind me. His breath smelled horrid and I was scared out of my mind. “ why you running away” he asked me.

I struggled in his grasp but he wouldn’t let go. I kicked and kicked but he was still in my face. He tried to put his lips on my face and I kneed him in the stomache. I was able to get out of his grasp and I ran for the door. I ran down near a llama cage and ducked behind it. I seen the man run past the cage and I ran towards the entrance where I had bought my ticket earlier.

I stayed in that building until my parents arrived to pick me up. I didn’t tell them what ha happened but as we drove away I seen the man standing in the parking lot with a yellow teethed grin on his face.

My Horrifying Facebook Friend

I always wanted to share this experience, but I was afraid of being called a liar, or laughed at saying I “made it up.” To this day, my parents don’t even know this happened. What I’m about to tell you is as true as I can state it, and an experience that still haunts my mind to this very day. I was a 16 year old girl at the time, but not a very happy one. I was bullied in school, and had my heart broken several times by guys who often manipulated me.

I had one best friend, whom I’m still friends with to this very day.

In short, I was very alone, and to escape that, I turned to social media. At the time, I mainly browsed Omegle, then Facebook by creating a furry role play account. I just discovered what the fandom was, it seemed nice and friendly. I chatted with people, and slowly made new friends. However, one day I got a friend request that I wish I never accepted.

I can’t quite recall the name, but the messages between us will never leave my mind. He seemed nice at first, told me he was my age, and we talked about furries and whatnot.

He mentioned he was single, I was too, so we exchanged numbers. This was the mistake I made that costed me big time. Everything seemed fine, until a few weeks later he asks me if he could see me in my underwear. I’ve never been the type of girl to do that, even knowing his age is the same as mine.

So I kindly told him no, and he backed off. Another week later, he tells me: “Have you ever wanted to live as a pet for someone? I can take good care of you, and make you my personal baby factory.”

I was horrified and disgusted. I responded: “No way! Why would you even ask that?” His next response…

Sent chills down my back. “How about you send me nudes little girl?

Or sexually role play with me? Wouldn’t want to see anything tragic happen to your siblings, would you?” I was numb. How did he know I had siblings? I couldn’t respond to it. Eventually, I gave into the threats, and sent him nudes I never wanted to send, but when I said no each time, he threatened to hurt me or my family.

This continued for a good month, til one day, he said “How about you send me a photo of you playing with your sister?” My stomach became sick, and I did too.

This was the last straw. I told him I can’t and won’t, but he then said “Shame it would be if those delicious photos you sent me leaked on the internet.”

I didn’t know what to do, or how to respond. I was panicking, thinking so many awful things in my head. Finally, I told him I had enough, and we were done.

His last text was “Alright, but its not my fault you’ll become a slut on the internet.”

A few months pass, and nothing happened. Now, I’m 20 years old, working a part time job and have started a new relationship with a really nice guy.

I don’t associate with furries anymore, and within those 4 years, that disgusting pedo never messaged me again. I often wonder if he really did leak those nudes, but I think he was bluffing. Either way, that time of my life I was scarred from that abuse, and most of all, it taught me to never add just anyone on Facebook ever again.

If anyone hears this, please, be careful on the internet.

Young boys and girls are easy targets, and searching for love is not a good idea on the internet. I do not wish this upon anyone, and I hope that no other boy, or girl falls victim to this. Stay safe on the internet, you never know how depraved or sick people can be, even on simple social media platforms.

Creeper at the crusty motel

A handful of years ago, my family and I were going on a road trip. I was young at the time, so I do not remember where, but it was in the Eastern USA. We were trying to save money, so one night when my parents were struggling to stay awake while driving, we stopped at this run down, old, crusty motel.

When we got a room and walked into it, it was uncleaned, had no bedding, and had no furniture besides an old TV, and a king size bed. Luckily, we kids had brought out blankets and pillows in the car.

I have always been a light sleeper, so the tiniest things wake me up, especially when I am sleeping somewhere that I am unfamiliar with. That night, we closed the curtains, made our makeshift sleeping bags, and went to sleep.

A few hours later, there was a small this at the window, which woke me from my light slumber. I got scared easily, so I was already on edge. I look around me, and see the silhouette of a man through the curtains. My little kid self had no idea what to do, so I hid my head, and prayed he would go away. I fell into a half sleep.

About an hour later, I wake up from a bad dream, and look over to the window, and the same silhouette is still there, but now closer to the left, where the door is. Somehow, I found it in me to get up, crawl to the window, and peek through the curtains, and man do I wish I had not.

The man at the window was staring straight at me, smiling, and waving. He had been looking in on us for hours, just waiting. He had the biggest joker smile you could imagine, and evil in his eyes. His hand reached for our doorknob, as I watched in horror. Right as he grasped it, I jumped onto the bed, away from the window, and woke my dad.

I told him there was a bad man at the window, and that he was trying to get in! My dad does not take this kind of thing lightly, so he sprung up, and ran out the door, holding my brother’s Disney’s Cars umbrella as a weapon.

The man was gone.

I am in my mid teen’s now, and my family has never stayed in a motel since, because a scare like that is enough to last a lifetime.
