Well, this was a while ago, but it still paints a clear image in my head. I live in a very small town, where we all know each other, and get along just fine. We are only a speck on our tiny state, outcasts, not noticed by anyone. I, on the other hand, love this town. The people are great, and so giving, caring. Well. . . That’s what I thought, until I saw for myself how dangerous this town really is, especially for a 15 year old girl.
It was a very hot day, that kind of day where the air alone can choke you out, let alone doing something remotely active. I thought otherwise, and planned a sleepover with my best friend, whom was over my house. We packed our stuff up, and went to go to her house. It was so hot, and I was actually scared of the walk ahead.
